Spring, Life and Lawn Care

You hear it every year, April showers bring May…well, you know how the saying goes. Still, it’s good to see our plant shoots push up through the earth as if stretching awake from a long nap. Before we get too busy in the world of lawn care we thought we’d take a moment to reflect on those long awaited and familiar signs of spring;

  • Coming awake every morning to the sound of music in the form of singing birds as they call and croon to one another. Do you ever wonder what they’re really saying?
  • Looking outside and seeing the scampering of squirrels and chipmunks as they play in the welcome warmth of the new spring temperatures.
  • Seeing new leaves on our trees as they work to open and bloom again. Like clockwork, they know it is time to embrace yet another year of growing and producing.
  • Our personal favorite, lawns once brown and dull from the cold winter, now growing and finally becoming thick, green and vibrantly alive.
  • The spring rains…need we say more?
  • Color, lots and lots of color. Whether it’s spring flowers, or blossoms from our ornamental trees, spring always brings out the best of natures beautiful colors.

Maybe for you, spring means activities like grilling outside again, bonfires, jogging or riding bikes. Maybe your content just sitting on the porch with a good book while enjoying the spring rains. For us at Signature Lawn Services, spring means working hard to improve and maintain the beautiful lawns of our clients. We consider it a privilege to deliver premium lawn care and assist the many communities of Fort Wayne and Northeast Indiana. Let us know if we can help you with any of your lawn care needs this year.

In closing, if we could talk directly with the season of spring, we’d probably say something like the following; It’s good to see you, Spring. You took your time in coming this year but you finally made it! While we are grateful for the lesson in patience, secretly, we’re even more grateful that we don’t have to wait on you any longer.

Enjoy it, friends!
